Uniform

The school uniform is an important part of belonging to Excelsior Academy.

Our uniform helps pupils to learn how to present themselves positively, gives them confidence to represent the school and promotes a strong sense of Excelsior identity.

At Excelsior we are doing our bit to save the planet. We have a range of pre-loved uniform items available in school. Contact the pastoral team office for your child's phase/year group for more information.

Secondary

  • White shirt

  • Academy blazer
  • Black formal trousers (no leggings or jeans)
  • Flat black school shoes (no trainers of fashion shoes)
  • Optional Academy V neck jumper

Sixth Form 

  • Black trousers/skirt
  • Plain black or white shirt
  • Black formal trousers
  • Smart dark shoes

Expectations

We expect the highest standards at Excelsior. 

Hair should be tidy – extreme styles or patterns are not acceptable.

Valuable items like jewellery, AirPods and cameras must not be brought into school.

No jewellery is allowed except for watches. Body piercing is not permitted and students will be asked to remove any non-uniform item.
