💙 Creativity with a Purpose 🧵
This week, our students had the fantastic opportunity to work with Moma Denim, learning sewing machine and hand-stitching techniques to create their own unique make-up brush holders using denim.
What makes this project special is the story behind it. What started as a hobby, Nicola grew into Moma Denim, supporting a charity that helps women and girls in Africa develop valuable sewing skills and access employment opportunities. Every item sold helps fund sewing machines, creating life-changing opportunities for women who may otherwise miss out on education and training.
Many of our students had never used a sewing machine before, but they embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, producing some truly impressive pieces (as pictured)
A brilliant example of being curious, brave and determined while learning new skills and making a positive difference in the world.

We're introducing a mobile phone-free school day from 8th September 2026.
Our aim is simple:
✅ More focus in lessons
✅ Better social interaction
✅ Improved wellbeing
✅ Fewer distractions
