We are having to send the Year 7, 9, 10 and 12 bubbles home from the end of school on Monday 19th October 2020 to complete online learning until we return from the half-term holiday on Monday 2nd November 2020.  This was the case for the Year 8 bubble this morning.  This is due to current staff absence levels.  We are open for face-to-face lessons for all Rainbird year groups, for Year 11 until 1.15pm and for Year 13 all day.  There is also an INSET day on Friday 23rd October 2020 so the last day this week is Thursday.  A letter, which explains all of the details, has been emailed to all parents and is available on the website.

Think North East is a School Direct partnership led by Sedgefield Community College, working closely with a number of other successful schools.  Using the School Direct route, we offer teacher training placements in schools located across County Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne.  Where other training providers might see you placed in schools located far and wide, we can work with you to ensure you are placed in schools that allow you to carry out your other commitments whilst training.
