Inspiring Futures: Excelsior Academy Careers Fair
Back
Excelsior Academy hosted their annual Careers Fair yesterday, providing students from Year 7 to Year 13 with the chance to explore a diverse range of career paths.
Organised by the Excelsior team, the event offered students direct access to industry professionals, Universities and organisations, enabling them to gain valuable insights into potential careers and further educational opportunities.
Held throughout the day, Excelsior Academy welcomed approximately 20 organisations, including three local Universities, Newcastle Eagles Community, Healthworks, Sir Robert McAlpine, the Military Preparation College, and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Students had the chance to engage with these organisations, learn about the skills and qualifications required for various career options, and ask questions about potential pathways after school.
We were thoroughly impressed by how approachable and enagaged all the students were. They asked insightful questions, were genuinely interested in learning about the opportunities available to them, and displayed a real enthusiasm for their future careers.
